From Trading to Manufacturing
JOTA established its own manufacturing facility, strengthening our capabilities in machine engineering, assembly, testing, and quality control.
Relocated to Kunshan
JOTA relocated its manufacturing operations to Kunshan, Jiangsu, with closer access to machining, components, and the industrial supply chain of the Yangtze River Delta.
High-Speed Thermal Paper Slitting
JOTA launched the SLT-900C high-speed thermal paper slitting and rewinding machine and delivered the system to a customer in the Middle East.
Moving Toward Full Automation
JOTA launched its first fully automatic thermal paper slitting and rewinding line, extending the thermal paper platform from high-speed converting toward automated production.
Thermal Paper Project with APP
JOTA worked with APP (Asia Pulp & Paper) on a fully automatic thermal paper slitting and rewinding project, refining the equipment through installation, testing, and production feedback.
Expanding Composite Processing
JOTA expanded its composite machinery development into carbon fiber and fiberglass prepreg processing, including hot-melt UD prepreg production and precision slitting technologies.
Water-Activated Tape Automation
JOTA developed a fully automatic water-activated tape (WAT) production line, with systems subsequently delivered to customers in India and Germany.
AFP Prepreg Slitting Development
JOTA continued the development of prepreg slitting and traverse-spooling equipment for AFP applications, focusing on narrow-tape width control and stable winding.
WAT Printing & Packaging Integration
JOTA developed a WAT production line integrating inline printing and packaging, with a system delivered to Eastern Europe.
Wider & More Specialized Converting
JOTA expanded its converting portfolio with projects including the 2100 mm plotter paper slitter rewinder, 1800 mm two-drum slitter rewinder, updated prepreg slitting equipment, and narrow-tape slitting applications.
Integrated Thermal Paper Automation
JOTA expanded thermal paper automation beyond slitting and rewinding, integrating downstream processes including wrapping, labeling, cartoning, and palletizing.
Expanding Converting Applications
JOTA expanded its converting machinery portfolio with further development in water-activated tape production and plotter paper slitting and perforating systems. At the same time, we continued to improve automation, process control, and machine safety across our converting lines.
