Clampitt Paper Company has announced two leadership promotions at its Kansas City operation, appointing Greg Savage as vice president and general manager and Carson Shaefer as sales manager.
The appointments strengthen the management team responsible for Clampitt Paper’s business in the Kansas City market, covering both overall operations and sales development.
Savage to Lead Kansas City Operations
In his new position, Savage will oversee the operations and strategic direction of Clampitt Paper’s Kansas City location.
The role gives him responsibility for the continued development of the business as the paper merchant serves customers across paper, packaging, wide-format materials and other specialty product categories.
“Greg is a strong leader who understands our customers, our people and what makes Clampitt special,” said Don Clampitt, chairman and CEO of Clampitt Paper.
Clampitt said Savage’s focus on customer relationships and team development positioned him to lead the Kansas City operation through its next stage.
The company did not provide details about Savage’s previous position or announce additional changes to the Kansas City management structure.
Shaefer Named Sales Manager
At the same location, Carson Shaefer has been promoted to sales manager.
Shaefer will lead the Kansas City sales team and work with customers and other Clampitt employees to support sales growth and customer relationships.
Scott Hider, president of Clampitt Paper, highlighted Shaefer’s leadership and customer focus as the company continues developing its presence in the market.
“Carson brings energy, leadership and a strong commitment to our customers and sales team,” Hider said.
The company did not disclose the effective dates of the appointments.
Clampitt Continues Family-Owned Paper Distribution Business
Founded in 1941, Clampitt Paper Company is a family-owned paper merchant serving customers across the U.S. Southwest and Midwest.
Operating under its “The Paper People” identity, the company supplies fine paper, envelopes, wide-format materials, equipment, packaging and specialty products.
The two Kansas City promotions place Savage in charge of the location’s broader business operations while Shaefer takes responsibility for its sales organization.
For Clampitt, the appointments represent an internal leadership transition intended to support continued development of its Kansas City market.
