ATLANTA — Rebox Corp., North America’s largest distributor of once-used corrugated boxes, has appointed Kyle Otting as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 8, 2026, as the company strengthens its leadership in the reusable packaging and circular economy sectors.

Otting succeeds Mark Young, who co-founded Rebox in 1990 and will transition to the company’s Board of Directors.

Experienced Packaging Executive Takes Leadership

Otting brings more than 20 years of experience in reusable packaging, pallet pooling and logistics management.

Before joining Rebox, he held senior leadership positions at IFCO Systems and CHEP USA, before serving as CEO of reusable packaging companies 48forty Solutions and PLA Solutions.

The company said his experience in scaling reuse-based business models and managing national logistics operations aligns with Rebox’s long-term growth strategy.

Focus on Circular Packaging Solutions

Rebox specializes in buying, inspecting and redistributing once-used corrugated boxes, extending the life of packaging materials before they enter the recycling stream.

The company operates more than 35 distribution centers across the United States and Canada, providing sourcing, quality control and logistics services for customers seeking cost-effective and sustainable packaging solutions.

The appointment reflects the growing importance of reuse models as businesses seek to reduce packaging waste and improve resource efficiency.

Founder Moves to Board Role

Mark Young, who has led Rebox since co-founding the business more than three decades ago, said Otting’s background in reusable packaging and customer-focused growth makes him well positioned to lead the company’s next phase of development.

Young will remain involved through his new position on Rebox’s Board of Directors, supporting the company’s long-term strategic direction.

With increasing demand for circular packaging solutions across North America, Rebox aims to continue expanding its role in extending the lifecycle of corrugated packaging while supporting customers’ sustainability initiatives.
