Every successful installation tells its own story. In Turkey, one of our clients recently began production with the JT-SLT-1400C-1P thermal paper slitter rewinder. What made this project stand out was not just the machine’s speed, but the teamwork and commitment behind it.
Our engineer arrived on site to provide full technical support, from initial setup and calibration to operator training. Within only 7 days, the customer’s team had already mastered the process — from threading the jumbo roll to achieving smooth, stable rewinding at full speed. The progress was visible day by day, as the operators grew confident in running and maintaining the machine independently.
During testing, the machine reached an impressive 24–30 seconds per shaft, cutting 1355 mm jumbo rolls into 55 mm width rolls. That translates to 24 rolls per shaft and a total production capacity of about 23,000 to 29,000 rolls in a single 8-hour shift.
Even under continuous operation, the web tension, roll edge precision, and cut consistency remained stable, proving the reliability of Jota Machinery’s control system and mechanical design.
The model installed in Turkey is equipped with an inline one-color flexographic printing unit, allowing the client to add small logos or brand marks during slitting. This feature eliminates the need for a separate printing line, reducing time and cost while giving the final rolls a professional appearance.
Beyond the numbers, this project represents something more meaningful — a shared belief in precision, patience, and trust. Our engineer worked side by side with the local operators, explaining every detail from blade adjustment to tension control. Instead of rushing through installation, we focused on helping the team truly understand their equipment. By the final day, the client no longer needed supervision; they were running full production on their own, confident in both performance and quality.

Inline Printing for Thermal Paper Rolls
In 2021, Jota Machinery became one of the first manufacturers to integrate inline flexographic printing into a fully automatic thermal paper slitter rewinder. This breakthrough allowed customers to print logos and brand marks directly during slitting, improving efficiency and reducing secondary handling.

3-Color Flexo Printing for Gummed Paper Tape
That same year, we applied the same printing concept to our gummed paper tape line, equipping it with a three-color water-based flexographic printing press. This advancement enabled eco-friendly, high-quality branding for kraft paper tapes while supporting sustainable packaging solutions.

Buffer Unit for High-Speed Printing
In 2022, Jota Machinery upgraded the inline printing slitting machine by adding a buffer unit. This system helps maintain perfect speed balance between printing and rewinding, ensuring stable tension, high-quality printing results, and faster overall production performance.
2024
Inline Printing Gains Market Trust
By 2024, Jota Machinery’s inline printing technology gained strong recognition in the paper converting industry. With growing customer demand and numerous new orders, the solution was expanded to our 900 mm width slitter rewinder machine, further enhancing productivity and reinforcing our reputation for innovation and reliability.

New Slitter Design with CI Concept
In 2025, Jota Machinery introduced a major design upgrade to the slitter rewinder system, inspired by the central impression drum concept.
