Unlike traditional systems where blades are synchronized with the tractor roller (which can cause surface scratches), the active round slitting blade ensures clean, burr-free edges with high precision. High-Speed Air Shearing Blades
Jota Machinery has developed a high-speed, mass-production air shearing blade featured in our two-drum surface slitter rewinder machines, capable of speeds up to 900m/min.
This advancement has generated significant interest from industries like paper mills. Recently, we delivered two sets of 1800mm-width drum surface slitter rewinder machines to a leading PE-coated paper manufacturer in China.
The air slitting blade system includes a high-precision air-expanding shaft for the lower shaft, ensuring secure and consistent operation.
The upper shaft stabilizes high-speed pneumatic blades (available in diameters of 130mm, 150mm, and 180mm), with a special spring mechanism to minimize blade swing and enhance stability.
